This is the thread for members (not new members, you say hello in a thread of your own) to say who they are and what interests they have.

So...my name is David McNay. I live in South Lanarkshire and I have a varied military interest. I am particularly interested in the Boer War, and am working on a project to provide more information on the men who served in that war.

I also, as you may have gathered, have an interest in war memorials and war graves.
