This is one of the most impressive graves I' ve seen yet, especially one to a Private. To give you an idea of scale, that rifle is slightly larger than life-size.







This plaque at the bottom might behard to read. It says:

"To the Memory Of Pte William Laird, DCM, 6th S.R. who died 25th March 1916, from the Patients and Nurses of Ward 7, Stobhill"
