Rodel is a village at the extreme southern point of Harris, 4 miles east of Leverburgh and 22 miles south of Tarbert. The cemetery is located around the famous St Clements church.

Date of Death: 13 March 1917 at the age of 21
Interred: Rodel (St Clement), northeast of church
Local memorial: Tarbert, Harris

Son of Alexander Macdonald, of Quidinish, Harris; husband of Mary Macdonald, of Satran, Sligachan, Skye, Inverness-shire. Born at Quidinish.
Regiment/Service: Royal Naval Reserve, HMS Vivid
Service number: 1509/SD
Date of Death: 14 January 1919 at the age of 57
Interred: Rodel (St Clement)
