Not the same date, and I have found some evidence to back up my theory.

http://www.wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?10653 suggests she was wrecked on 26 Apr, refloated on 15 May and subsequently sank.

http://historicalrfa.org/rfa-hughli-ships-details suggests she was raised again on 20 Oct and then lost again, if so, the sinking of a ship on 3 occasions must surely be a record!

There are certainly odd / conflicting statements being made on various sites. Even the reported casualty / survivor numbers they give do not add up.

The discussion centred on Thomas Gordon, RFA Hughli and 26th April 1919.
It appears she was involved in an incident that day, likely due to a sea mine and in consequence Gordon is commemorated at Portsmouth.
This would not have happened had he died due to the consequences of a storm alone.
